Fancy journeying through the history and its preservation at the palace of Versailles? Or immersing yourself in the experiences of the European Avant Garde? Or maybe discovering how we may begin to define a civilization?
All of these ideas will be up for discussion at View, A Festival of Art History, a festival organised by the Institut français , with a fantastic programme of events in London from 27th February – 1st March.
Not only is View an incredibly student-friendly festival, with many free events and others that cost just £5 with student discount, but Birmingham has a particular link with View this year, which is that Birmingham student Lauren Dudley won first prize in our Student Papers competition!
The Festival presents an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in not just Art History, but conservation, heritage, languages and the makings of civilization as a whole.
